We ensure your needs are identified and provide full support on all levels of benefit administration. Customized services for your needs include; benefit plan analysis, contribution strategy, onsite benefit enrollment meetings, employee education, and custom enrollment kits.

Ease – Go paperless with our easy-to-use online benefit enrollment and management system. We’ll help you save time and streamline the enrollment process, plus you can securely store and access all of your vital employee information in one place. Our cloud-based platform holds your health plan information making it easy for your employees to understand benefit options and complete enrollments with “SmartForm” technology, eliminating the burdensome paperwork associated with enrollments and employee changes.

Voluntary Benefits – Our benefit administration goes beyond traditional group health insurance. Employers may find voluntary benefits are best for their staff, offering a wide variety of options including Vision, Life, Accident, Disability, and Identity Theft coverage while keeping their liability and costs within budget. Voluntary plans can be a shared cost for employer/employee or 100% employee-based.

Bilingual Services – Our office provides your employees with support regarding their health benefits in Spanish and English. Enrollment meetings, plan materials, benefit packets, and daily support are available in English and Spanish.

PEO Partnership – At Parelius Insurance Services we understand that your number 1 asset is your people. This is why we’ve partnered with over 40 different Professional Employer Organization (PEO). A PEO offers co-employment solutions that can bring valuable resources in areas of Benefits, Worker’s Comp and Technology for employee management including payroll. We’ve partnered with “best in class” that allow us to stay engaged as the broker, understand the offerings, bring multiple viable solutions to the table, be your advocate for ongoing service, and negotiate the best terms and overall leveraging the marketplace.

Benchmarking – We provide a thorough understanding of benefit trends and assist in creating the right benefit package for your company. We’ll analyze plan design, cost-sharing, vendor offerings, voluntary benefits, employee education and wellness programs to control costs and ensure your benefit plan is competitive in the marketplace. Our illustrations will allow you to easily pinpoint and compare to other companies within the same demographic who offer employees benefits.

Hidden Paycheck – Our hidden paycheck program allows you to educate your employees about the benefits you offer in addition to their salary, which allows for a total compensation analysis. We provide an easy to use template allowing you to produce a “Hidden Paycheck” statement illustrating the real value of your compensation package to your employees.

Wellness – We help you build and customize a wellness campaign specific to the needs of your company and employees to maximize outcomes and ROI. Wellness programs improve the health of your employees and your company. Shown to reduce costs, improve productivity, and reduce absenteeism wellness programs are a great addition your total benefit package.

Compliance Resources

Parelius Insurance Services along with our compliance officer on staff can provide you with the experience you need to understand the important regulations and stay compliant. Laws such as the Affordable Care Act (ACA), aka ObamaCare, COBRA, ERISA, Medicare, HIPAA and state-specific legislation can be cumbersome and are ever-changing. Parelius Insurance Services will ensure you have the tools needed to remain compliant.

ThinkHR – A platform of integrated HR resources and training. They offer compliance assistance with an award winning resource center for all your workforce and compliance issues. Training solutions that develop employees and ensure compliance with key administrative tools. HR experts standing by to answer your questions or provide advice with unlimited calls. As well as a mobile app that you can easily access to contact their team and review questions. As a Parelius client you get unlimited calls with their HR experts, access to their handbook builder, and a wide range of online training courses. Complimentary sexual harassment training for managers and supervisors.

Zywave – Senate Bill 530 requires employers with five or more employees to provide sexual harassment prevention training to all employees. To ensure our clients are compliant with this law, Zywave provides the one-hour training online course, at no cost. Compliance is required by January 1, 2021.

Health Care Reform Compliance – the Health Care Reform law, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has many complex requirements for employers and health plans. Parelius Insurance Services will ensure you have the supporting documents, articles and up to the minute updates on legislation, requirements and employer requirements pertaining to the Affordable Care Act.

ERISA – Current data shows that 95% of small businesses are not compliant with ERISA law. The penalties for non-compliance are $100 per day per employee or $36,500 per year per employee. Parelius Insurance will provide the necessary documents, including the required WRAP Summary Document, to stay compliant with this important law.

COMPLIANCE OFFICER – Deborah Hyde, Esq. Parelius along with Deborah Hyde are your resources to ensure you meet your compliance obligations and keep you up-to-date on laws and regulations. Deborah is skilled in ACA compliance, ERISA counsel and the San Francisco Health Care Security Ordinance (HSCO).

COBRA – Proper management and administration of COBRA is crucial in order to maintain compliance & avoid exposure to costly fines & lawsuits. Our staff will provide guidance on assessing your COBRA requirements and ensure you have the appropriate support for your COBRA needs.

Orendac HR – Parelius Insurance started OrendacHR (OHR) over 12 years ago to provide clients with access to a full service HR firm without incurring the cost of an in-house Human Resources professional. Parelius offers all clients a “Triage” package of HR services, at no additional cost to you. The Triage Package includes a HR forms library, telephone support, monthly seminars, newsletters, website access, monthly hot topics. Employers that require additional resources such as an employee handbook, assistance with developing policies unique to your worksite, recruiting, compliance audit and more, will receive a discounted rate for all upgraded packages and services.

Medicare Specialist – We provide you with expert advice relating to all areas of Medicare. Receive guidance on transitioning your 65+ employees from group benefits to Medicare. Our specialist will educate you and your staff on Medicare parts A & B, supplemental insurance, and Prescription coverage (Part D). Our one on one counseling option will ensure desired coverage and questions are answered through the entire enrollment process.
