Voluntary Benefits – Our benefit administration goes beyond traditional group health insurance. Employers may find voluntary benefits are best for their staff, offering a wide variety of options including Vision, Life, Accident, Disability, and Identity Theft coverage while keeping their liability and costs within budget. Voluntary plans can be a shared cost for employer/employee or 100% employee-based.

Complimentary sexual harassment training for managers and supervisors.
Zywave – Senate Bill 530 requires employers with five or more employees to provide sexual harassment prevention training to all employees. To ensure our clients are compliant with this law, Zywave provides the one-hour training online course, at no cost. Compliance is required by January 1, 2021.
Health Care Reform Compliance – the Health Care Reform law, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has many complex requirements for employers and health plans. Parelius Insurance Services will ensure you have the supporting documents, articles and up to the minute updates on legislation, requirements and employer requirements pertaining to the Affordable Care Act.
ERISA – Current data shows that 95% of small businesses are not compliant with ERISA law. The penalties for non-compliance are $100 per day per employee or $36,500 per year per employee. Parelius Insurance will provide the necessary documents, including the required WRAP Summary Document, to stay compliant with this important law.
COMPLIANCE OFFICER – Deborah Hyde, Esq. Parelius along with Deborah Hyde are your resources to ensure you meet your compliance obligations and keep you up-to-date on laws and regulations. Deborah is skilled in ACA compliance, ERISA counsel and the San Francisco Health Care Security Ordinance (HSCO).

Orendac HR – Parelius Insurance started OrendacHR (OHR) over 12 years ago to provide clients with access to a full service HR firm without incurring the cost of an in-house Human Resources professional. Parelius offers all clients a “Triage” package of HR services, at no additional cost to you. The Triage Package includes a HR forms library, telephone support, monthly seminars, newsletters, website access, monthly hot topics. Employers that require additional resources such as an employee handbook, assistance with developing policies unique to your worksite, recruiting, compliance audit and more, will receive a discounted rate for all upgraded packages and services.
Medicare Specialist – We provide you with expert advice relating to all areas of Medicare. Receive guidance on transitioning your 65+ employees from group benefits to Medicare. Our specialist will educate you and your staff on Medicare parts A & B, supplemental insurance, and Prescription coverage (Part D). Our one on one counseling option will ensure desired coverage and questions are answered through the entire enrollment process.
